Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Build Our Kingdom Publishing LLC for using Spouse Reports. Plain language, because you should be able to read it.

The short version. Spouse Reports is a private tool for couples to give each other honest feedback. It is not therapy, counseling or medical advice. One subscription covers both spouses. You can cancel any time and keep access to the end of what you paid for. Be honest, be decent, and do not use it to harm anybody.

1. Who this agreement is with

Spouse Reports is operated by Build Our Kingdom Publishing LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Spouse Reports.

2. What Spouse Reports is — and is not

Spouse Reports lets two partners answer structured questions about each other, turns those answers into grades, and gives each person a private Spouse GPA.

This is not therapy, counseling, medical advice, or a substitute for professional help. We are not licensed counselors and we do not diagnose or treat anything. If your relationship involves abuse, or you or anyone else is in danger, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services. In the United States you can reach the National Domestic Violence Hotline on 1-800-799-7233.

The grades in Spouse Reports are one partner's opinion, recorded in a structured way. They are not an objective measurement of a person, and no decision with serious consequences should rest on them alone.

3. Your account

You must be 18 or older to use Spouse Reports.
Give accurate information, and keep your email address current so we can reach you.
Your account is yours alone. Do not share your password or let somebody else use your account — the honesty of the whole thing depends on each person answering for themselves.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think somebody else has access to it.

4. Pairing with your partner

Spouse Reports works when two people are connected. You invite your partner, they accept, and from then on you each answer about the other. Either of you may disconnect at any time.

Only categories you both agree to are ever asked about or graded. You can turn a category off whenever you like.

5. Privacy of your results

Your grades, notes and Spouse GPA are private to you. Your partner does not see them unless you choose to share, and you can stop sharing at any time. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Spouse Reports to:

Harass, threaten, demean or abuse anybody, including your partner
Create an account for somebody else, or pretend to be somebody you are not
Report on a person who has not agreed to take part
Collect information about other members, or attempt to see results that are not yours
Break into, overload, scrape or interfere with the service
Break any law, or infringe anybody's rights

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where we can, we will tell you why first.

7. Subscriptions and payment

Free accounts cover the Communication category, in depth, at no cost and with no card required.
Full membership unlocks every category. It is $29.00 per year or $3.99 per month, at the prices shown when you subscribe.
One subscription covers both partners. Only one of you needs to pay, and both get the same access.
Payments are processed by Square. Your card details go directly to Square and never reach our servers.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price until canceled. We will tell you in advance of any price change.

Prices may change. If we change the price of an existing subscription we will give you notice by email before it takes effect, and you may cancel if you would rather not continue.

8. Canceling and refunds

You can cancel at any time from Your plan in your account. The spouse who set up the subscription is the one who can cancel it.
Canceling stops the next renewal. You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for — we do not cut it short.
Payments already made are not automatically refunded, since you keep the access you bought.
If something has genuinely gone wrong — you were charged in error, charged twice, or the service was unusable — email us at admin@spousereports.com and we will put it right.

After cancellation your account returns to Free. Your reports, history and Spouse GPA are kept, not deleted.

9. What belongs to whom

Your content is yours. The answers and notes you write remain yours. By using Spouse Reports you give us only the permission we need to store that content, calculate grades from it, and show it to the people you have chosen — nothing more. We do not claim ownership and we will not publish it.

The service is ours. Spouse Reports, its name, logo, questions, grading system and software belong to Build Our Kingdom Publishing LLC. Please do not copy, resell or reverse engineer them.

10. The affiliate program

If you join our affiliate program, the affiliate agreement governs that relationship in addition to these terms. Where the two conflict on affiliate matters, the affiliate agreement takes precedence.

11. Availability

We work to keep Spouse Reports running, but we cannot promise it will never be unavailable. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

12. Disclaimers

Spouse Reports is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will improve your relationship.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Build Our Kingdom Publishing LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or relationship outcomes, arising from your use of Spouse Reports.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Ending this agreement

You may close your account at any time by emailing admin@spousereports.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to by law. Sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, liability and disputes — continue to apply afterwards.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for anything significant we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Spouse Reports after a change means you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in PA, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

Before starting any formal proceedings, please email us at admin@spousereports.com. Most things can be sorted out directly, and we would rather do that.
